Food For Thought: Nutrition And The Lymphatic System Workshop - Saturday May 13th 2023

One of the best ways to protect your body is by eating a healthy diet, taking exercise and detoxifying naturally.

Following on from the success of my recent workshops on the lymphatic system, I’m running a further one together with registered nutritional therapist, Suzannah Jackson, on the role played by nutrition in maintaining a healthy lymphatic system. Suzannah is a functional medicine practitioner who works with clients to rebalance their body systems, increase their energy levels and restore their health through bespoke nutrition and lifestyle programmes.

The workshop is at Roko Health Club on Saturday May 13th from 1:30pm - 3pm, and available on Zoom too. 

Suzannah will speak for one hour packed with advice and tips, and I will then teach 30 minutes of lympha-exercises. (There’s no need to have attended my previous lymphatic workshop though I will be running another one in person and also on Zoom - see below.)

 Meanwhile, I’ve asked Suzannah to explain below why it’s so essential to understand the importance of the lymphatic system and the effects it can have on your body if the fluids aren’t flowing smoothly…

“Your lymphatic system is crucial for your immune system and in protecting you from inflammation and illness. If your lymphatic system is congested, you will be more prone to infections and/or disease.

Obvious symptoms are swelling, but others may include headaches, rashes, histamine intolerances, diarrhoea, constipation, acne, brain fog, and low energy levels.

Yet how many times have you thought to yourself “It's just my age!” and ignored these symptoms?

Well, now is your time to take control and feel the best version of yourself. A good diet plus good digestion and absorption, having a healthy gut microbiome with no inflammation or intolerances, plus good elimination are all key factors for a healthy body and a healthy you.
